Delivering contemporary dance and drama sessions to young people and adults for organisations ongoing programme

Sessional leader and assistant delivering music and movement classes for young people with learning disabilities aged 8-18 years.

Associate Lecturer in Dance for PGCE Primary Education- UEA September 2010- Present

Delivering dance education as part of the Physical Education programme to enable students to teach dance in Primary education.

Drama Leader Sheringham Little Theatre September 2013- July 2014

Delivering drama classes to young people aged 4-20 years including directing end of term shows.

Dance Leader – DanceEast- Suffolk September 2008-September 2013

Delivering creative and contemporary dance and drama teaching for the agency on an ongoing freelance basis to young people and adults.

School Sports Partnership Community Dance Coach October 2010-April 2011

Delivering and designing creative dance classes and training resources to Primary schools around East Norfolk. Led Inset training for teachers to develop dance into the curriclum at KS1 and KS2 and co-ordinated the annual dance platform ‘Momentumn’.

Blue Print Project- Bury St Edmunds March 2010- April 2010

A four week project funded by the Garage in Norwich, working with adults with learning disabilities to choreograph a 10 minute physical theatre piece, leading to a performance at Suffolk College.

Halesworth Arts Centre- The Cut October 2009-October 2009

Led a dance and physical theatre workshop based on Darwin for 10-14 years old, to celebrate the Halesworth Arts Festival

Primary School Projects- Ipswich and Lowestoft June 2009-July 2009

Led 2 day projects in three primary schools based around the theme of the Beach.

Planning and delivering contemporary dance technique and choreography classes to KS3, A level dance and A level performance studies.

As an assistant my responsibilities included teaching cover A level technique and choreography classes and maintaining records and other administration duties.

Dance Teacher (Oasis Academy Wintringham) January 2008 – May 2008

Teaching GCSE dance to year 11 students to prepare them for their finale year exams in dance analysis and choreography.

Chameleon Creative Partnerships Project November 2007 – March 2008

Working in partnership with North East Lincolnshire, creative partnerships and musician to plan and deliver a creative dance project over 15 days for young people with learning disabilities aged 11-14.

Outreach project - Sports partnership and Lindsey school November 2007 – March 2008

Teacher training scheme to aid primary school teachers on how to implement dance into their curriculum, giving them tools for creative dance delivery. Working with KS1 using ‘Write Dance’, as stimulus.

Group Leader / Instructor (PGL Holidays) February 2007 – July 2007

Group leader involved looking after holiday groups such as schools and families to ensure their holiday and activities ran smoothly.
